Upscaled map size, New coin sprite, and new gold drop system (for future changes)
Today's update
Some quick fixes to somethings that were noticed, the audio for the first song didnt loop correctly, this issue has been fixed, but if you notice something weird with it please let me know!
Next I went ahead and upscale the game to support 4k, Dont worry if you dont have a 4k monitor, things will scale to fit your current monitor just fine! This is a change to better suit those with a 4k monitor to not hurt the details of newer sprites. Also a new coin sprite has been added with a bit more detail.
The biggest change of today's patch is the way that gold drops will be handled. from this point on things will be different in one main way. I have introduced a last hit system.
How does this system work now?
This new system will reward the player a different amount of gold based on which tower kills a unit, for example a basic tower killing the first difficulty of enemy will award you with 1 gold coin. If a red tower were to kill the same enemy it would award you with 2 as it currently doubles the gold gained from the enemy. This will change but it is this way just to ensure the system is working properly. This will be balanced by making towers that have slower attack speed or lower damage award more gold! So the question is do you focus on killing the enemies very quickly with strong towers, but get less gold, or do you weaken them and allow them to progress to your towers with lower damage and attack speed in order to gain more gold early on? This is what will add some more to the strategy of the game!
